Being Available
With things spinning all around us, there isn't much opportunity to go within. Or, do we find excuses to "be busy" so we don't have to be still and contemplate our inner most connections?
In order for us to intuitively:
- "see" what we need to see
- "hear" what we need to hear
- "know" what we need to know
- "feel" what we need to feel
- "say" what we need to say . . . .
we need to go to that quiet place and tune into Source. Our "senses" will be replenished and revitalized. What better way to become "whole" as well as supported in our daily lives and interactions. Your perceptions and insightfulness will magnify; conversely, your presence will become increasingly more peaceful and calm.
What a delightful prescription for anyone who cherishes themselves enough to do this. It will have interesting effects on anyone that comes near your energy field. Some people will be drawn to your energy. For an individual with negative intent, they will be repelled by your aura and go the other way.
Would you like to play with this? Do you have the time? Are you available?
Namaste,
Jima

Be in Spirit
We are well on our way into this new year of 2011. It will be a year of many changes and illuminations for our soul. Have you started to reconcile changes that the pervasive energies out there are trying to usher you through?
I just recently taught a level 3 Reiki course which involves the Spiritual level of one’s healing and existence. One of the topics of the class was Ego vs. Spirit and how it’s impossible to be in both at the same time. It is our choice as to which one we choose to manifest at any given time. Our Spirit is a guest in our body. And, it is up to us to create a fabulous temple for our Spirit to reside. Can our Spirit detach from us? I believe so, especially when Spirit can’t align with our negative actions, our lack of health, traumatic events, etc. Have you ever noticed someone without a spark in their eyes? Are their eyes vacant? Has their soul detached?? At the end of the lecture I read to the students the story of the “Two Wolves”:
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside of people. He said, “My son, the battle is between two ‘wolves’ inside us all”.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: “Which wolf wins?”
The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed”.
So, how is your appetite, and which wolf are you choosing to feed?
Namaste,
Jima
